What colours is the wedding party wearing?
Maroon and burgundy, if you’d like to avoid matching us.
What shoes should I wear?
Whatever you like! Just remember there’s a short walk (under ten minutes) from the ceremony down to the boats, and then you’ll be stepping onto a boat.
What does “garden formal” mean?
Suits and cocktail or formal dresses, with the ceremony on grass in mind. Think of it as a wedding in a park rather than in a ballroom.
What about gifts?
We really don’t expect gifts. Please just bring your lovely selves! But if you insist, we’d welcome a contribution to our honeymoon in Austria. Visit our honeymoon shop →
Can I bring the kids?
We’ve decided to make it an adults-only day, so please take the night off and come celebrate with us.
Do I have to go on the boat?
Not at all. The boat is there for anyone who’d like to sail down the Yarra with us, but you’re just as welcome to make your own way to Leonda and meet us there at 6:00 PM.
What if it rains?
We’ll have marquees, so the day goes ahead either way.
How should I get there and home again?
All three spots are easy to reach, so public transport, an Uber or a taxi is your best bet. Parking is limited, and if you come on the boat your car won’t be at the reception — so we’d leave the car at home.
